Zippy Electrical Suppliers offer free tracked delivery for most online orders over $350. For orders below $350.00 you will be satisfied to see we offer excellent low rate discounted shipping rates which are provided by Australia Post. You will also benefit from our company not charging any “handling” and “processing” fees for boxes of any size or weight.

Your total shipping charges will be automatically calculated during checkout prior to the completion of your order. For large or heavy items, special shipping arrangements will need to be made.

While we try our best to ship our products to as many locations Australia wide as possible, please understand that we may be unable to deliver to some remote rural and offshore locations.

Completed orders placed on weekdays before 12:00pm local Melbourne time will ship the same day. Any orders placed after 12:00pm local Melbourne time will ship the next business day.

Tracking details are automatically provided when goods are dispatched which is usually within 24 hours of payment being received.

All Zippy orders are delivered during business hours from Monday to Friday.

Delivery Services

For the best means to deliver your parcels and packages, we have chosen Australia Post & Couriers Please to be our main method of delivery. This will ensure that all your shipments arrive as quickest as possible and in excellent condition. Our couriers can only deliver to Postal addresses so Australia Post will be used for deliveries to PO Boxes. Zippy Electrical Suppliers is not liable for any Loss, Theft or Damage to items during delivery but we will endeavour to rectify any issue if it were to arise.

All our products are normally in stock and ready for immediate delivery. In the case your item you ordered is out of stock we will contact you with an expected dispatch date to ask if you would like it back-ordered.

Redelivery Fees

If neither you nor your authorised representative is at the delivery address to take delivery, the courier company will leave a card with their contact details so that you can contact them to arrange another delivery time and date. If you do not get in contact with the courier company by the specified date, your order will automatically be sent back to us which you may incur a redelivery fee.

Authority to Leave

We may deliver the products in a range of delivery methods. All deliveries over $350.00 must be signed for, unless you select Authority to Leave Unattended without Signature at checkout. Please note this is at your own risk and we are not responsible.

Tracking your order

When your order is dispatched, we will send an email or SMS confirmation with tracking information. Orders can be tracked by entering the provided link and tracking number in the shipping email.

Special Delivery Instructions

When you checkout your order, you will also be given the opportunity to leave any special instructions for the delivery person. Notes will be used for instructions to help the driver make delivery of your order (e.g. ” Last house at end of driveway”, ” Office hours 9-5″). Drivers are unable to grant specific requests such as ” Deliver between 1-2pm” or ” Leave parcel in garden shed”. Zippy Electrical Suppliers cannot be held responsible if your instructions are not followed, nor can we complete any promo code requests entered in this field

Big and Bulky Deliveries

Big & Bulky and Oversized items require a street address for delivery and are can only be delivered to mainland Australia addresses, including Tasmania. (Some exclusions may apply.) Islands cannot be serviced by our Courier Services.

Should we be unable to arrange delivery to your location, we will arrange a refund for your order.

Delivery Acceptance for orders requiring signature and for all orders above $350.00

All orders above $350.00 require a signature upon home delivery. If there’s no one at home to sign for the parcel, or a ‘to the door’ service is not available in your area, a card will be left with instructions on how to collect your order.

Once your parcel has been signed for you will be responsible for any damage to or loss of your items. If you believe you have not received everything you ordered please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Reasons for Order Delays

Our warehouse is closed on public holidays in Melbourne, Australia. For orders placed on, or the day before one of these dates, delivery time will be extended by 1 – 2 working days. During sale periods, orders may take an extra 2-4 business days to process.

Other reasons for delays

  • Incorrect address has been entered against the order.
  • Items that are out of stock can be sourced from one of our local retail outlets, this can delay shipping by 1-2 business days.
  • If the payment capture process is unsuccessful your order will be delayed until alternate payment arrangements can be made.
  • Occasionally if a particular product is in high demand, we may need to re-order the product from our suppliers.

Shipping Restrictions

Our carrier, AusPost, does not deliver to the following locations:

 

  • Parcel Lockers
  • Locked Bags
  • GPO Boxes
  • Airports
  • Prisons

Accordingly, any orders nominating these locations as the shipping address will be rejected and the products not sent or delivered. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to refuse to deliver products to any locations.

If your order is being delivered to a Hospital please ensure the suite number, level/floor and/or ward location is included in the first delivery address line.

All orders must be signed for upon delivery or authorisation provided to leave the order in a safe place. If you are not at the nominated address when your order is delivered, AusPost will leave a calling card at your nominated address and goods will be delivered to your local Australia Post office.

Shipping Faq

I Accidentally Entered The Wrong Address. Can I Change The Address After I Have Placed An Order?

The shipping address for your order is shown in the checkout and on your order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails. In the event that an incorrect address was entered, address changes can only be made prior to order beginning processing. Zippy Electrical Suppliers cannot accommodate all address change requests. We highly recommend letting our customer service team immediately. Zippy Electrical Suppliers takes no responsibility for orders shipped to an incorrect or invalid address and is not liable for any loss associated.

Can I Cancel My Order After Placing It?

Do You Ship Internationally?

Zippy Electrical Suppliers ships goods Australia wide only. At this time, we do NOT accept international orders through our website. Please contact us on contact@zippyelectricalsuppliers.com.au to enquire about a special order.

Can The Driver Deliver Between Certain Times When I Will Be Home? Can They Delivery To An Area I Request

What Shipping Couriers Do You Use?

We use Australia Post, Couriers Please and Fastway for all Australian orders. Most items will be dispatched within the specified time frame. Please allow for a few more days in the event of poor weather or high traffic period such as public holidays. Your item’s may be left at your shipping address at the discretion of the driver at the time if it is safe to do so. In the event your item cannot be left, it usually will be carded in your letter box for you to arrange collection from your local post office.

Can My Delivery Address Be Different From My Billing Address?

Yes, definitely. Please make sure to choose different addresses during the checkout process.

How Do I Track My Order And Delivery Status?

Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse you will receive a shipping confirmation email which will include who we used to ship your order and with tracking number and link to track your order online. Tracking information will be made available as soon as you receive this email.

What Happens If My Products Are Back-Ordered?

In the rare event that your item is back-ordered, you will be notified immediately about the possibility for delay. Most back-ordered cases are resolved within few business days.

What Happens If I’m Not Home When My Order Arrives?

If you are not available during an attempt delivery of your parcel then a collection card will be left by the delivery driver. There will be details on the card so you can locate your local Post Office or organise a re-deliver or will need to go in for collection.
